Virtual Postpartum support available during "shelter in place"

We are all in need of connection and comfort as we navigate the ever-changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic.  As new parents we can feel especially isolated and vulnerable, right at a time when support is so deeply needed.  Virtual or phone support can still be incredibly beneficial for newly postpartum families; birth story processing, sleep and infant care education, breastfeeding guidance, best healing and self-care practices, new family dynamics and plenty of normalization, can help get your new family off to a flying start, even in these very challenging times.

Easy and affordable ZOOM sessions are now available; $30 for the first 30mins.  Reach out if you or someone you love could benefit from a little extra care or a confidence boost right now.

Full spectrum support for your parenting journey

Becoming a parent for the first time, or expanding your family is an incredible time of change and transition.  It is a truth that all new parents, no matter how prepared or competent or experienced, need to be nurtured and supported throughout pregnancy, birth and especially in the early weeks of a new baby's life.

Inviting a Doula into your family when you are preparing for birth and/or when your new baby is born, can be a real game changer. You will be gently encouraged and supported by a non-family, non-judgmental, compassionate and experienced professional who is completely dedicated to meeting your needs.  And extensive research tells us that your birth experience is just better with a Doula on board.

Everyone is welcome here

I have the great privilege of working with families of all shapes and sizes; it's one of the really special parts of this job as a Doula.  Today, family structures are increasingly diverse and we are quickly moving beyond traditional gender roles and identifying language.  You will notice that I choose to use open language and terms like 'birthing parent', 'birthing partner' and 'co-parent'.  I hope this allows for a warm welcome for everyone.
